aluminum angle bar frame Ridge runner????

So i am rying to identify this mini bike and get some info maybe a mnual or some pictures of one that is fully asembled.

it is an aluminum angle bar frame- bolted together- tecumseth engine- there is a name plate rivited in the stering head stock... says ridge runner phoenix.. maybe 1960 vintage?
any one have any info.. would like to restore it...

I googled (ridge runner mini bike in phoenix, az) I did see something about airplanes but didn't trust to click there site. :scared: $325 was a lot of money back then for toys. I guess thats why there's not a lot of those to be seen.:shrug:

It sounds like a Argile. This one is my fathers. They are very rare. I've seen 2. They where sold to and marketed toward pilots. Ad's can be found in vintage aviation magazines.

Richard, do you happen to know the date of that old desert magazine? I am trying to figure out how old this thing is.
so far this is the only info I have found on this bike. anyone know anything about them?

It was the May 1962 issue of Desert magizine. They had a overveiw of all of the trail bikes made at that time.

I looked on that site and could not find any info on the Ridge Runner made in phoenix some where near 1960. I am in the process of getting it running again. I'll have to post some pictures then.

Postcard. Continental engine is 4 stroke cycle. Not 2 stroke.
