Another trike and a half

It was too dark to take pics but you know I will. I picked up another Montgomery Ward T-555 and a half of another one. The back half. From where it bolts to the front half back. So it has the differential and all the good stuff. $150 for them.

O.K. The frames are broken down and ready for sanding... Notice the difference in the 2 styles of rear frames. It looks like they got rid of the chain guard in exchange for another axle bearing.

I will probably try and save the beefed up one and do what I did to my other one and slide the mount over and use a centered axle. I have a couple in case I break one. And then I will use all new parts for the rear and have it identical to my other one. I am also thinking of going with a yellow frame black seat and blue motor. Any thoughts? Randy

Does anyone have a source for the brass bushings in the differentials that wear out? Or are they $20 a piece everywhere? These are 1 inch axles that step down to 3/4"? into the diff.
