Ruppparts has a shim head gasket to get more compression. He also has a billet rod for higher rpm use. An aftermarket (mikuni, etc) carb but you'd have to fab a cusom intake manifold. When I rebuilt my HS40's, I cleaned up the valve pockets, not sure if that does much good but it won't hurt. Haven't found any performance cams, yet.
