Are All Taco Kickstands Created Equal

#5
Get yourself an Asuza one, ditch the bracket, and use the arm. Goes right on. I don't think either of my 100s have an original one, but a couple of my older bikes do.

This is what INJUN is talking about. BMI has them without bracket for $2.10 but shipping from them could be as much as $20! :eek:ut:

Just for your information....Taco kickstands are pinched and drilled at the back of the bend for the kickstand spring hookup. That must've been a tough job at the factory.:hammer:

what do you mean? punched and drilled at the back of the bend? not following you.

Pinch the loose skin on your arm, then poke a big nail through the pinched part. That's what the setup looks like.

I sold all my Taco kickstands(They sell for as much as $30), so hopefully someone here can post a picture of one for you.

You'll have to call and ask.

If you want new Carlisle (with no indian head), I can send you another link but you have to keep that one a secret.
