Very slow progress , crank is in but it took three weeks to arrive , I also ran into an issue with bad clutch setup awaiting for new parts hope they arrive soon . I bought a new motor plate 3/16 thick cause frame is wide engine is heavy and this diesel shakes when it's shut down . It wasn't a quick bolt on for the clutch .

Some updates been a while, sometimes when you rush n screw things up it good to set it aside n re group ! ( welded 1st engine plate backwards !) latest things are thick plate slotted and mounted beneath frame , figured out brake n welded on , mounted water / fuel separator , mounted hand controls for horn , start, signals, high low beam, on off. Picked up lithium battery ( extremely light n compact ) this week I'm doing exhaust , battery tray and mudflaps

Thanks for compliments , few nick names that might go on the bike 1st phantom 309,puff the magic dragon or pigpen ? As of now I'm leaning twards phontom 309 after seeing my brakes to weight ratio lol . Monday I should have mudflaps, battery tray, maybe headlight and exhaust. *Exhaust I think will be pretty cool if it materializes.

Great concept. I just read your posts. This thing is going to be a hoot. Very nice work and when you're done, if you can, post a video of it running. I'd love to hear it.

That is really cool. I am working on the same mini bike, but have an 8hp predator, I did some tweaks, welded in the engine plate & it is out to get powder coated now. I am going to put together my build soon & post it, but I have been busy.

I would love to see yours when complete - hopefully I will collect all my photos, upload them and do a write up in a couple weeks.

I owe it to this site, as I have gained a lot of knowledge from it !
