Does anyone own a HF bender with these dies to make minibike frames and does it actually work. I have the bender but not the grooved dies yet.

I have that bender unit also, but I don't know if I could
use a set of dies that only bend 1/2" diameter "square" tubing.

it advertises to make motorcycle frames but 1/2 " isn't very large most of my frames seem yo be 3/4 - 7/8 -1 inch. i've never really bend anything with the bender i think it is over advertise and mainly does flat metal.

I have one of these benders and personally, it ain't worth a cup full of cold pi$$. I messed with this piece of junk for a couple weeks till I finally wised up. I made a set of custom dies, a tubing support and proceded to pull my liver loose trying to use this thing. I am 245 fairly stout for an old man and could not bend 1 inch except lite ga. aluminum, worthless for frame work. Used a come-a-long on it and bent the heavy wall tube handle. Want one? drive to Indiana and I'll give you this thing.

Waltsuz that was the other thought , there is no way to bend heavy metal without some kind of hydralic system. I do like your better than mine at least it looks fisable that it may work. there is alot of info on u-tube and the internet for benders though.
