Bird? Year? Engine Year?

The bike has the orange Briggs in the second picture on it. I need help identifying the engine type/year as well. Thanks.

I think that it is underneath a 3 hp. But i am wrong alot. (Just going off the tank size)

BTW , use caution when cleaning up , paint stripping or sand blasting as the handlebars are probably chrome underneath all that pretty red paint ?? Chrome may likely be shot but it's worth checking :thumbsup:

If you post the numbers that are stamped into the shroud (three sets) facing the carburator, we can tell you the year and engine displacement.:thumbsup:

Well I didn't get the bike. I just drove over 3 hours round trip in traffic to have the seller deny me because I was a few minutes late, even when I told them over the phone that I was committed to buying it. Oh well, next one I guess.
