Hey All,
I haven't been around for awhile work keeps on travel all the time. Well I ran into a doodle bug that had all the normal symptoms, guy who owned it was frustrated and wanted it out of his garage. So now I have the ARCO, Roper, Bonanza MX and a doodle bug.
I took the 3.5 Tecumseh off the roper and stuck it in the doodle and it still seems under powered. I will be putting my predator in the doodle bug, it's in the ARCO right now (that's a hell of a rideut: ). My plan was to try the 2.8 in the ARCO for my grandson, then upgrade to a 3.5 hp briggs I have on the bench.
So after all this I guess my questions is, Does the Pro Mod jack shaft fit a briggs or should I just weld a jack shaft onto the ARCO?
We do mostly gravel road riding and have to go up a hill to start, so was thinking a jack shaft setup would be better on all the bikes. Not too concerned with top end for right now.
