Bonanza Chopper Seat Resto ?

Have the fiberglass seat, and foam. Ordered and received the vinyl seat cover from Black Widow.
Never did a seat before and have no clue what is next? Staples, glue, Meteor dust on rye?
Appreciate any direction, and as always, Mucho and the Grassy Yas!

You will need some spray glue (contact cement) then glue the foam to your seat. Then shape the foam the way you want the seat to be. 4" disc grinder with a flap wheel will make it fast. Then take a old bed sheet or any large piece of material lay out the top of the seat to where you want your seams. After you have the pattern for that take some strips around the sides but make sure it over laps. So you can glue it all down latter make sure to add a 1/4" all of the way around on the seat top too. So you can sew it together at the seam then you can trim it off or let it. Once you have the cover sewn from the new seat cover material together and it fits right. Spray the seat foam with the glue put the cover on pull it down the way you want it. Then wrap the bottom edge over glue it to the under side of seat pan and clamp it there. Snap cloth pins will work for this in a pinch. And seat pan fenders and bodies can be made using a wool blanket and fiber glass too. But that is another fun one. I hope this will help you out! Take some pictures as you go so we can see how it turns out.

A lot more than I bargained for, but will take this info, to a seat guy and hash it out.
Thanks, your info is concise, to the point, and very valuable. Can't thank you enough, and
will make sure pictures are taken when this goes down.
