I just push and thread them on like a bolt. May have to use some elbow grease and regular grease [emoji106]

It's a pain but can be done, I twist counterclockwise and push......................Tom.

The way I did it.... wrap the spring in a rag and put it in a vice. Grease the spring and the plug. Put a screwdriver through the hole in the plug. Apply pressure and twist it in. It takes a lot of pressure but once the plug grabs, it will twist right into the spring. Use the screwdriver like a handle to help you twist
