Breather

#1
Gc 5 hp
I removed the air cleaner assembly to fab up my linkage because it's a pain
to work on
I plugged the breather hose and took a few laps on it
Now it is pushing oil out of the fill plug and the govenor arm at the block
Other than put the air filter box back on is there a solution for this
Thanks

You should unplug the breather immediately. That is an important crankcase vent.

Some people put a filter on the end of the hose. Looks cool. I just leave the hose in the rocker cover and hanging connected to nothing. On my dirt bike those breather hoses are routed and end just below the frame in back of the engine.

The "standard" is just one crankcase breather, but for those with these monster built engines they will add extra breathers.

There is a number of differences between the GX series, and your older GC series, so not alot will bolt on.
Any filter that fits the breather hose will do, that includes various fuel filters...
