Briggs crankshft Question?

Does anyone here know if the older Briggs 3hp crank is the same as the 2hp?

BUMP!! Anyone have some sorta idea if they are the same I have a 3hp, but not a 2hp to compare :smile:

hmm you know the stroke is probably smaller
like with the briggs 4 hp and 5 hp the bore and stroke are only diference to make the extra horse

Ok ,its makes sence :doah: I just dont have one to compare. I have a very clean 2hp with no crank:thumbdown:It was robbed some time ago. I guess I could install it and run it up.

well put a 3 hp crank in and bolt a rod and piston in see the stick up the maby you could remove a small bit of material from the piston

i bet it realy would be to then you could add an advanced key andd have even more torqe
