Briggs cylinder honing

I'm going to buy a cylinder hone to deglaze my aluminum bore briggs. I've looked around on OldMiniBikes warehouse and ebay and I know that with an aluminum bore you need aluminum oxide stones. But the 25 buck one on OldMiniBikes doesnt only says the grit of the stone. Anyone know the stone material?

If you have an AutoZone near you you can pick up the honer and extra stones. Get the finest you can find. I use 300 grit(fine) and plenty of oil or WD40. Briggs manual calls for fine grit. Do not over do it, just enough to break the glaze.

Straight stone hones are better at keeping the bore straight and round. The ball hones randomly cut and make low spots even deeper.
