Briggs throttle set up

#1
Got this motor off a member. It had electric start and all. I guess it's off a snow blower. I removed it bc it was a 120v set up. Wasn't sure if I could convert it to 12v and hook it up to a battery. Either way.
I want to put it on a mini bike. Is there somewhere I can buy a throttle set up. I know OldMiniBikes sells kits but not sure which one I need. Not really familiar with briggs. I'm more used to clones. Also he told be it was a 3hp. From what I could find on the old interweb it appears to be a 5hp. Is this correct.

You've got a good carb setup now, just get creative and make a throttle hookup! I am certainly not the brightest bulb in the box, but I did it. I tried to find a pic, but they are gone! I will try to find it when I get home tonight

Thanks that would be great. I wanted to put something on that wouldn't make the motor look like crap. It's kinda a nice looking motor and just didn't want to throw some brackets and wire on it that look like crap

I'm wondering if the Tecumseh throttle setup from OldMiniBikes could be used in this situation. The governor would probably still work as well.

Well I gave it a shot. I had a throttle linkage kit for a clone laying around. I mounted the piece that hold cable to the shroud and moved the spring to the top of the carb. Looks like it should work.
