Can anyone recommend replacement Azusa mini bike brakes?

Welcome to the madness. This is a great site. You can use the search bar to to look for threads on this topic. People tend to have strong opinions on Azusa products.

And then I saw that you found that other recent thread...

Small world. I've never been to Hawaii, but I can tell you that clutch brakes work just fine.
Yes, they work fine as long as the chain is still on... When your chain comes off at speed, it can get scary with only shoe brakes and un even ground. Easy way to break and ankle or worse.
After having experienced a chain break and fall off with only a clutch brake, I now want a drum or disc brake on the wheel. Or at least have a scrub brake for emergency's.
Just my opinions, others will vary.
