i hope this counts as a project so my 1970 mt 50 wouldn't start so i took the drain plug on the carb out and it is filled with crap so i take the carb off and wow its nasty ok now i have it cleaned up and almost ready to install it

Might try cleaning the inside of the flywheel and your points. All it takes to make your ignition system is:: the finest wound coil in your magneto hooked to your points,condenser,coil, and one side of the kill switch. The other side of the kill switch to ground. Same for all old points type magneto bikes.

i cleaned it will the good carb cleaner and cleaned all the jets and fire up first kick
