On my Cat 400X the pipe where the steering bolt goes thru is worn out causing the bars and wheel to go fore and aft. I took it all apart and did not see any bushing. Is there a replaceable bushing or what can be done to fix my issue ?
Every cat I've ever taken apart didn't have a bushing on the front. It was just the bolt through the neck. If it's getting sloppy, you could try sleeving it or maybe finding a bushing that'll work in it
What's the inner ID of the neck tube on those? 5/8", right? See if you can find a piece of copper pipe, or use some thin copper sheeting and roll a piece for it.
