I did do something like that too!!!!!!!!!

This was a project I made with a scooter that I picked out of the garbage....The seat was from a universal weight lifting machine, and the engine was a 3 HP tecumseh. The air filter / cleaner was made from an old A&D ointment container. This thing was FAST!!!!!! It had no weight to it....

all you need to do is get a scooter and a ten speed bike cut the crankcase off the bike and the bottom off the rear of the frame and weld it find small motor attach sprocket to rear wheel add chain BAM !!!! IT`S DONE > WELL MAYBE NOT THAT EASY BUT CLOSE

Im guessing he just used a rear wheel from a kids bike. Theyre the same as the scooter tires but have a sprocket and coaster brake. Then youd just gear down with a jackshaft. That would also allow for a centerd engine
