Parked it in 2018. Started it a few times, never rode it in 20 21 with fresh gas.

Blew the dust off today. Cleaned the carb/jet out. Wasn't even dirty...

Fired up, won't Rev out past 1/4 throttle with rider. Then bogs and cuts off.
Reminds me of running out of fuel in bowl, but bowl is cold, so it has fuel.

Got a new, same, but higher performance carb off the monkey site. Installed and it's the same shit.

Literally nothing to adjust on these other than idle.

Only likes to start on choke. But even hot same thing. It revs out on stand.

Normally I'd immediately say carbs bad. But 2, same symptoms, and one new...

Is all of the linkage moving free? No springs binding or gummed up?
Most of them only start with choke on, even warm. They will bog pretty bad until they warm up, too. I suspect you have a linkage problem, not a carb problem.
Can you post a picture of the long silver arm that the cable pulls when you twist the throttle?
The governor won't let the throttle stay wide open once the engine rpm gets around 34-3600 rpm. It will look like 1/4 throttle.

Who's the monkey site?

I'm thinking it's a fuel mix problem. Something about revving out on the stand but not under load. That's why I said air leak.

It's all free and moving. Was stored inside since new.

When I was installing the gaskets i said. That's weird. Why is there an open to air port between the carb and intake. But it looks like that's from factory
There should be a labyrinth passage between the carb and plastic intake spacer that functions as a float bowl vent, so it’s okay for that to vent to atmosphere. You’ll notice the passage is sealed off from the actual intake tract though.

Might check the choke butterfly to stem shaft attachment location. Theres a couple stake points that separate from the assembly and leaves the plate independant from the choke shaft. Basically the chokes on in any position you place the lever when that happens. Hondas were famous for this back in the day. Remove the air cleaner and examine.
