Finally done!

I finally swapped out the crappy 2.8 for a 4 hp Tecumseh that I got from blkscorpion80. The new motor runs great and the kid who will be getting the bike will have a blast riding it!

Hey owen -- also, could you explain your skateboard wheel chain tensioner?

Maybe some details and a closeup pic or two if you get a chance?

It's looks like a winner!

Thanks!

Actually, I needed a larger diameter wheel than the stock one to take up the slack and looked everywhere and couldn't find one. I decided to check out a local skate shop, and they had one that was the perfect size and fit the mounting bolt. The only thing that I had to do, was cut down a spacer to make it centered on the chain and it works great!!!

Ive been using skateboard wheels forever in just the same way, even on some of my chopper street bike builds. Depending on the compound they work as good if not better than the stock ones, and the skateboard bearings can be easily replaced, easily cleaned, and super fast!
