I just finished a custom
Mega Moto 80.I got it as a bunch of boxes most of which got trashed but I did get a solid frame to work with.The majority of bits and pieces got powder coated “illusion cherry “ looks great in natural light. The engine started out as a Tilly 212E
It’s a stage 4 with Mikuni flat slide and a little extra hot sauce! I sourced a bunch of the parts and pieces from Studz in Detroit and Go power sports in Texas they’re both great to deal with. I paid a lot of attention to detail on this project and it starts on

Looks very nice…I’m building the same bike. Hope to be finished by June.
Im curious what powder coating costs. Just a ball park. Even though mine is a new frame the paint job is crap.
After mock up it’s, paint, powder or chrome. I’ve spent way too much already why stop now?

I paid 800 bucks for the frame front suspension and a bunch of other things IE blower housing fuel tank chain Gaurd assorted small parts. The powder coat isn’t really that much more expensive. I found a guy who pays attention to detail…prep is the key
