Funny little story.

I just finished doing a 88cc and a hotter cam for my little honda passport that is like 3 colors. :laugh:

Well this thing stock did around 45 on a good day and is now pushing 60.

So this morning Tammy and I are crusing around and some kid on a newer db30 with a red clone and a strait pipe ( did not see any other mods. )

Well he was about 20 ft ahead of me when I yelled lets race he said ya.

So I was in second I quickly downshifted wrapped her up and ran through the gears and passed him at about 50mph we all had a laugh :laugh:

OK not so funny (to me anyway) I have an SL70 that I been thinking about one of those 88 kits on the Bay. What all did your kit come with?

That's a great web store, I could get in a LOT of trouble there! Who would have thought a 45 year old engine would still have that much HIPO stuff still available?!

I know what you mean.

I was just pricing out what a few things for my honda's would run me and it would be about 4k :doah:

The clone Trail 70 and 50's have help the CT70 and Z50 market as far as hop up parts,
I have that 88cc kit on one of my clone Trail 70's. I haven't seen that kind of speed out of it. But does make a difference. Maybe I,m just too heavy of a rider.:laugh:

My trail 70 never hit 45 stock but the c70 does :shrug:

The clone 70 tops out with my fat butt on it at about 45 now with the 88cc kit. Its a 4spd trans. I had to regear it also. I have a smaller rear sprocket on it 15 tooth up front. Must be the wheel size helping out on yours.:shrug:

Not sure but this sucker fly's and by far is my fave honda.

There is one for sale not to far from you for 500.

A friend of mine has two SL90's he's trying to sell me, I haven't asked how much he wants for them yet! I thought those were cool when they were new, but two strokes were much better dirt bikes.

my camera is busted :crying: ( I know pics or it didnt happen) but any way, it was the bike i learned to use a clutch on, best bike ever, got it up to 55 once (with a tail wind, downhill) lol. I'm not exactly sure if it is a 71, my dad told me it was when he gave it to me :shrug:
