I've been working on making a gas tank out of an old CO2 tank for a paintball gun and I Can either mount it vertically, or horizontally. I would prefer horizontal but the only place is in direct path of the exhaust. Is the hot exhaust on a gas tank that's pretty thick bad? I've seen some of the briggs with a pipe near the tank, but not in direct blast.
