Getting Ready for Winter

#1
picked up a couple tools to help me through the up and coming winter:

and

the 1970's vintage ariens snowblower my dad gave me died last winter
so this new one is the replacement. there isn't as much steel on this
one, lots of plastic.

the chainsaw replaces an echo that was loaned out and never returned.
it's a stihl ms291 with a 20" bar.

new toys! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

I love my Cub Cadet  30 inch cut, 10h Tec, electric start and head light  It 8 years old and all I have ever done to it is change the oil and put gas in it and a few shear pins

the snowblower is a 22" ariens 2 stage with a 200cc gx
clone engine. i got it to do the paths between house and
my shed, and also to do the deck.

the kubota does the main walkway, the driveway, and
the road. being a compact tractor it still isn't manueverable
enough to clear the paths. it has a 60" two stage blower
that will move some snow:thumbsup:

compared to your cub this ariens is a training model! it will
clear the paths but doesnt have the balls that your machine
does.

the chainsaw is cool. the salesman told me it will cut the
porch off my exwifes' house in 4 seconds or less, guaranteed!

Ya I got to change the oil on old smokey before it gets cold.

Football practice today with the boy ( his team Colts lost 17 - 22 to the Demons ) sat in the rain and shiffered.
Old man winter is coming I can tell.
Then the sun came out and I warmed up...

But its not changing the fact that the seasons are rolling on.
Soon we will need our rakes and then snow gear....

My clone powered Ariens.
Made from 100% scrap and recycled parts.
Now entering year two of the engine made of junk

This is cool I need to buy a chainsaw and was looking at Stihl models. I have used Husqvarna saws before but never a Stihl.
I have an Ariens 30" X 24" pro series snowblower that works awesome I love it.

Same here I changed the oil on the cars yesterday and ordered new coolant hoses thermostats and coolant recovery tanks.

Also ordered a new set of tires for both cars.
