I have a gateway that is a 1.7 1gb ram for 100 only issue it needs a battery that will run 30 bucks so for under 150 you can have a decent laptop

It really comes down to customer service and right now apple is the best in the business. But as far as a pc I would try dell ive had good luck with there service.
