Ok, lots read and learned on how to remove the govenor, but nothing on what it's doing there in the first place, and why we don't want it . Any explanations ? I just bought the HF 212cc Thanks guys
Without the governor, the engine can spin more rpm's. This is great for more speed, however, it can turn your engine into a time bomb waiting to explode and frag pieces all over since it spins faster than the parts were designed.
