how to get he valves out

Im getting ready to port my head but i dont know how to get the valves out. How dk i remove them

been a while since ive done it, but remove the head, then disconnect rockers, retainers, and keepers on top of valve stem. valves should slide right out.

I have everyhing off and they dont just fall out

Look for burrs on the stem tops or are they discolored and wrapped?

Mine did that. I got a small file and filed around where the keeper goes onto. Emery cloth would work too. They then slid out.
