Indian Trials MT5A wiring

Hello there, I have recently acquired a Mt5a Indian trials mini bike exactly like this one:

And we could not get spark. I took the tank/seat off and discovered the wire from the coil winding (not the ignition coil to be clear) was cut up under the tank and connected to nothing. There was another wire in the sheathing with that one that went from the condenser to the killswitch.

Im wondering if there is supposed to be a regulator that connects to the wire from the coil winding. Or where that wire is supposed to go off to. I can’t find any information online, if you have a wiring diagram for this bike I’d love to see it. Thanks

The engine on this bike is a Franco Morini S5k2 and is the same engine used on the MM5A Indian. These bikes were all built by Italjet. If I recall correctly, the black wire goes to the kill switch and the other is not used. I have three of the MT5A and many other Indians. Where are you located? You can find most manuals at www.indiandirtbikeparts.com I have all the factory manuals, but would have to see if they have any wiring diagrams.
