Forgive me if I missed a thread on hubs, I been looking and doing searches, but nothing so far. Some questions I have include, are the one piece wheel/hub for the front durable enough for a heavy "Tote Gote" type bike? I will be putting wide tires and wheels but can not seem to find wide enough premade hubs. Also I wonder what the odds are of finding a correct offset. The bike I am thinking about building will weigh in around 225-250 and I plan on 2 adults or one adult and 1/2 an elk. So a 6-800 GVW. Add sprockets, brakes and I see more than a few issues if I just blindly order a hub on line and start fumbling with spacers. So any good links on hubs/bearings/brakes/sprockets? Also, no where have I seen a post on what beer to have while working on a mini bike, I hate to break tradition!
