JC Pennys/ Bird with stuck forks?

I recently picked up JC Pennys/ Bird mini with stuck forks. Can someone possibly tell me how to disassemble them and maybe the measurement outside to outside on the spring cups (unweighted)? I need to know if they are stuck compressed or extended.
I'm looking for any and all advice:thumbsup:

3 inches from outside to outside [unweighted] . Take forks off and turn them over and put Aero Kroil or P B Blaster on the tubes . Do this for a couple days . Take the wheel off and put axle back in . Put a block of wood on the axle and try tapping it with a hammer . Keep soaking and tapping .I have freed up 3 of them doing it . One of our members had a bad experiences trying to ride one with froze up suspension .

PB blaster is your friend. That stuff works great. Just like yankee-bear said, just keep soaking and tapping. It might take a week but it will work.:thumbsup:
