Just changed oil for first time...

I measured it when I took it out and 8 oz came out. I drained and re-filled with 10w30 and put 12 oz back in. The manual says to not screw the dipstick back in the check the oil, just sit the cap in and check. It's showing just about in the middle. Sound normal?

12oz is OK, probably will not give you any trouble.

The Baja DB30 manual says takes approx 12 oz, as I recall. But, if you check the conversion from quart to liter is wrong in the manual and understates the oz quantity. I believe it really calls for approx 15oz. I add approx 15oz, and have never had any leak out.

Also, this engine is Honda G100 clone and the Honda G100 takes 15oz.
