Hello All,
I've surfed past here a few times before and decided to finally introduce
myself. Getting up there in years and figured if I don't regress to youth soon
it may be too late!
Rode a lot of friends' bikes when I was young - the brothers next door had
Sears' that looked to be Bird or Dart rebadged, one of my junior high buds
had a Taco with a West Bend and no brakes, another had a QA-50. Always
wanted an early (pre-spoked wheels) TT-500/Scrambler, but by the time I
got any kind of income going I got a great deal on a Honda Super Cub 50
(C-110) motorcycle instead of a mini. It had a clutch and a non-stepthrough
frame so I was in heaven. Thrashed that poor thing around our local vacant
lot trail until I broke the motor mounts standing on the engine mounted footpegs -
not designed for motocross imitation!
Anyway, just wanted to say hello and happy riding!
