All - I've gotten some great advice/help from members here - got another question - my son's Christmas present (in progress) needs a new gas tank and I can't locate model number, etc. on this engine - not sure of the maker - any help? I need a few other parts for this kart, bearings and tie rods, which I should be able to track down. If you couldn't tell it I am still pretty new to minis and karts - or at least I'm rediscovering them now with my boy. Thanks for any help!
Looks like a 2 horse, on the output shaft side of the head, on top and in the front, there should be a number cast into it, should be either a 6 or an 8. 6 is two horse, 8 is a three.
--does anyone know the make/brand of the kart pictured? On the engine, I'm trying to figure out the make and where the serial number is so I can look up some parts - any help?
