I bought the engine in this thread http://www.oldminibikes.com/forum/mini-bike-parts/40382-kohler-2-stroke.html and it should be at my house in a day or two
.
this engine is clearly a Jacobsen 2cycle I researched jacobsens history and they did in fact produce generators for the military in WWII so this engine is a perfect fit. HOWEVER the military tagged it as a Kohler but kolher never did make a engine like this
.
so what part did kohler play was it just a mistake? or did kolher make the controler and generator part of this machine?
.
and by the way what model jacobsen is it? it looks like 321
where does jacobsen hide their numbers?
