lash cap question

hey guys just put new ss valaes and 26 lbs springs in 15cc head do i need to put lash caps on both springs? i bought it as a kit and it came with two.mods are as follows:billet rod.010over,super dyno x cam 265 which they say works out to be 275 with stock valves,flattop piston,billet flywheel,chrome molly push rods,8 deg.timing advance,26mm mikuni carb.what do you think?:shrug:

Carb is too big.

Stay around 22mm or smaller

when i bought the carb off ebay it said 26mm,but on the flange side its stamped 22?
so what size do i really have?

Measure the bore where it bolts to the motor. If it's oval, average the sizes. For instance if it's 28 high, and 20 wide, it's a 24
