they have a bunch of pics on the Facebook page. looks like some of the bikes are Really modified. I think you'd be ok with the stock class.

Doing everything I can to make this, wife isn't happy since I have a car show this weekend and a car meet next week though

I need to practice my launches on pavement if I am going though, never really launch the bike except in the dirt

Hello everyone.
This years race is going to better than ever. If this is your first year attending get ready for some fun. We began our races 4 years ago, starting with a road race that spanned 10 miles through the city of East Providence R.I. Our second was the same style but the course was 6 miles that went through the west side of Providence. There is no way of describing the rush of running wide open on public roads with zero permits or permission side by side with 30 other bikes! In our first event our oldest rider was 73 and the youngest was 14. The road races were a total blast but honestly were just way to dangerous after the second year. Guys showed up with bikes that were hitting speeds you wouldn't believe unless you saw it yourself, and the size of the pack was just getting bigger and bigger. We had several bikes that would walk away from the pack at speeds over 50mph and as a club decided it was time to keep things a little more controlled. We decided that a 100 foot drag race would be the best route and the event has grown every year. We have had bikes that run on nitro, alcohol, pump gas, race fuel. N.O.S. turbo, you name it. The stock class is the biggest and no body walks away without a smile on their face. The unlimited class is all out anarchy and the speeds the bikes hit is impressive. Basically all the lunatics that had the super fast, 70mph and up bikes, for our road courses races just put the motors in stretched frames and changed gears. Every year there are a least 4 bikes that really boogie, and we have been hearing rumors of a few newbies showing up that want to bring some thunder. The guys with the target on their back are The Helger Bros. Speed Shop boys from Little Compton R.I. They have won the unlimited class 2 years in a row and as a club we really want to get the win this year. We are very hopeful more unlimited class racers show with some fast rides so the competition can be fair and fun. We also want to encourage everyone to bring parts or bikes they want to sell or trade in our swap meet area. If you have an old car, truck, hot rod, etc please bring them as well. We are a car club after all and we always get a good turn out. At the end of the races we host a grille your own steak fry for $20 that includes a huge steak and all the sides. We really appreciate those who participate and support this part of the event because the funds raised from it are used to make the next race even better. We fell short this year to have race t-shirts printed up, but hope that maybe we can raise enough to get some made after the race and mail them to anyone interested. Cant't wait for the race, build em fast, and lets have a ball!
