Lil Indian front neck size

I have one bike that I'm sure is from '67. It has a small diameter neck. My other bike has been ID'd as a possible 1969, and it has a large neck.

sometime later in 1968 for the 1969 style of bikes lineup...that was for the century series. The Grand series (the larger full suspension bikes) were introduced for the 1968 lineup and had the larger headtubes already, which is most likely why they headtube was later upgraded on the century's.
