According to the brochures (70 thru 73) Orange was not a color offered on any model :shrug: and Competition Red was the color used on 71 Shrike I'm guessing it was just faded :shrug: I have a 71 that I'll let go real cheap but it is far from perfect :doah:
I cant post a link but if you google speed way mini bikes .com the have all the brochures :thumbsup:

Orange speedway

Well is that whats in my pic? i always thought i was orange

I didn't look thru my brochures, but I'm fairly certain orange was available.
There are plenty of pictures on the internet of old rusted up orange butcher birds online.
Anyway, you can always just paint it orange no matter what color it came originally.
BTW, orange if my favorite color on these, the orange and black looks great together.
