Milling Predator Head

#1
Can I mill .080 off a stock predator head without any issues or should I stay at like .065 ? What does the machine shop usually charge for this? Also anyone know any good machine shops in Austin Texas area? Thanks

You would be better to mill a 18cc Honda head or use a clone 14 as is.
the 18 would require less initial milling and the material used and quality of the casting is much better.

Unless your are really pushing a clone head they are fine,
But once you mill them a lot they tend to warp.
If they do crack it generally between the valve seats but they are more prone to cracking if they have been milled

I just had a new never run complete predator head laying around I wanted to play with while I am building another motor with aluminum rod, flywheel and mamba jr cam...I will have a head built for that....just wanted to play with what I had around .....is there any safe amount I can mill off? Also what does a shop charge to mill head, if its a lot I may just save money for head for the other motor....
