Finally Done! This was my first build, brought me back to my youth! Started as a garage sale buy (see my albums) Added shocks, new seat, had to rebuild rear brake. I kept the B & S for a later rebuild and threw a Harbor Freight engine. Kept it basically stock, added air filter, carb jet & emulsion tube, Champion plug and backed off the governor adjustment screw. Bike runs great, needs just a few tweaks.

Great looking build .:thumbsup: I like the band brake on the rear . How does it work as far as stopping power ?

This bike had no brake when I bought it. The original equipment had a press formed lever that controlled the band. I made up this set up myself. As far as stopping power...its ok, not great. I have a bit more fine tuning to do.
Just got back from another garage sale and put an offer on another. Don't know what make. If I get it I will post pics.

Are those the shocks from Surplus Center? Look like them. Just bought 4 of them. Nice build. Gotta love new parts.
