new clone vs old clone

whats the difference between the 2 will my old ported milled head go on the new block? are the cranks the same?

I Believe they are the same except or the way the Gas Tank mounts and the Air cleaner design.

Internally.....im pretty sure they are the same......same goes for the heads

Sould be the same, but the old one should be a little dirty.

it will be fine. i'm running an old style head on my new style 6.5 and it bolted on with no issues. i think they only changed the valve cover design on the new ones.

i forgot to mention before, the cranks are the same too as far as i can tell.

Clarification please, at a glance are the new ones identifiable by the "L" shaped gas tanks? while the old ones have the square gas tanks

that's correct. the new ones also use a 5 bolt valve cover instead of 4.

got mine for 99 bucks too i put a rod in it removed the gov installed my head and push rods and 1.3 rockers it funs dam good on a mini baja my only gripe is the location of the gas cap

I have an old style Clone and new style.....and neither one makes it convenient to fuel up on my baja

There is a tank that comes with the MB165 that has an offset fuel cap on the right side of the bike and the gauge on the other.

Still a little hard to fuel....
