I'm more of a Harley guy but we had an older MTD Doodlebug (Thanks 1stlegendtx for the info on brand) bike given to us from my wife's great uncle. I plan to fix it up for my son to learn to ride on, so far it's just been me and boy is it fun!
I medically retired from the Army after 22yrs, Airborne Infantry mostly at Ft Bragg but I did some tours in other Airborne units. Now were settled in Grays Creek NC nearby to Ft Bragg NC.
As far as the mini, I had to pull the stock engine that was not turning over and leaked horribly. I took a chance that a Predator 212 would fit and luckily it did but it's tight. I had to flip the stock exhaust for now to be able to clear the frame. I have an ebay special on order and it should be here next week. No big plans to remove the governor or hop it up, it goes plenty fast now for what my son will need.
