9 times out of 10 they do. Unless your forks have spacer tubes welded on them, you need spacers so the bearings aren't being bound up.:hammer:

It's also good to use a spacer between the bearings.




The axle spacer is inside the wheel hub (green) and keeps the precision bearings in place. Without the spacer, the bearing can fail from load and/or if you over tighten the axle nuts.
