I figured out what stops the stock 2.5 engine from using the FULL choke. Its that tube that re-routs into the intake. It releaves extra gasses from the engine back into the intake (for better emissions). Maybe it pumps hot air into the intake stream and that causes it to run better at half choke, ahh whatever.
All I know is that I disconnected the tube (and how its fallen off completely lol) and now I can open up the choke all the way. The bike DEFINATELY breathes better.. It may be my imagination but it also seems like the engine now has a small ammount of lag under 10 mph, but definately feels like theres more mid-top range power (most likely more of a carb issue than an intake tube issue). Anybody else do this?
