So.........I have a Monster Moto MM-B212 Pro with the headlight. I went to remove the headlight today to fix the crooked lens and the mounting ears disintegrated. 
I was wondering if the lighting coil would power a 55 watt halogen off road light? The stock bulb is a 35 watt BA20D base bulb. It wasn't very bright at all, and only the 1 filament inside of it gets power on this bikes setup. I do not know exactly what style of lighting coil this machine has...all I know is the wiring goes into a 4 pin rectifier (possibly regulator too, not sure...) then off to the light switch, and into the light. I'd like to use a cheap 55W until I rewire the bike this winter with a batt'ry and a street legal LED lighting kit. Anyone have experience with different off road lights on the stock lighting coil? BTW the engine is the Lifan 7.5hp...I am ASSUMING the lighting coil setup mimicks a GX200 Honda.
