Predator idle/clutch issue

#1
We just picked up a late model Lil Indian with a brand new Predator 212 on it.
I can’t run it without it taking off. It’s like the idle is to high where the clutch is grabbing. I turned the idle down as low as I can without it stalling.
Being a newbie at this I’m guessing I have a bad clutch. The clutch seems to work well as far as both parts spinning freely.
Any help is appreciated
Bob

Try two or three drops of oil on the bushing of the clutch. If the sprocket is mounted inboard, an old oil can works best for me. If that helps the issue, I’d recommend pulling the clutch off and taking it apart and giving it a good cleaning. You can also replace the bushing if there is excess play.

Thanks.... that’s exactly what the issue was. Took the clutch apart lightly sanded the inside, cleaned then a few drops of oil and it worked great. Thanks so much!!
