Predator starved of gas?

#1
Recently mounted a Predator 212cc engine on my Quasi-Stellar frame. Has plenty of torque and is perfect for the bike but at full throttle, the engine seems like it is starved of gas. I am pretty sure it is not the oil level sensor because that would just cut the engine out completely, no?

I did not find any main jet adjustments on the carburetor. Are there any?

I plan to leave the engine mostly stock for now. Would it be worth it to remove the governor?
There are several other lower cost options that you can take before you go that route --> Open element air filter, rejeting the carb, and less restrictive exhaust. Look up some of the treads in this forum.

Swapping a jet, really isn't "modifying". It's more "uncorking". It's dead-lean stock, and will run better with that one minor mod. WAY easier than de-G-ing, and WAAAY safer. It may be so lean at the governed RPM that it surges.

Sounds like you're bumping up against the governor.

What size jets should I go with? This'll be the first time I physically modify a carburetor to get more performance.

only real way to know is by taking a plug reading. post a picture of you plug.

BTW are you still running the stock plug? if you change it out and try it.
