Never have I ever heard a youtuber state that they are doing their top speed run on a flat stretch of road. Even a few degrees of slope can really push top speeds up.

I’ll repeat my question, have you pulled the plug and checked the color of the ceramic that surrounds the electrode after a few minutes of wide open throttle?

I’d get a filter on there asap. I prefer foam over fabric, but either one is better than nothing. Be aware that adding a filter will change your tune slightly towards the rich side.

You can get a compression tester fairly inexpensively to tell you if you have lost compression.

Double check your valve lash with feeler guages.

You might also look into a lockout bushing for your TAV to keep it out of overdrive.
