Old thread but hoping you're still active, are you able to link the site where you got the t/c kit? I just picked up a RT200 and looking to do the same.

Torque converters are all over Amazon and Ebay. The key things in the description that you need to look for are 3/4 and 40 41 420 (chain). They should be under $70. You are getting just the torque converter. Compare that to the expensive kits from places like GPS.

This is the first time I hear of no risers needed to install a TC on a RB/RT200.
If the cooling shroud needed to be removed from the head this was a custom installation. In order to clock the plate that far it would need modified or bolted on using only two bolts.

I use risers but have done the same to my plates for adjustability.
