Raceseng / 340-390 Billet Flywheels

#1
We have been discussing production options for the new 340/390 Rev Wheels and we wanted to reach out to find out what you all would like to see in regards to an S1 (stage 1) & S2 (stage 2) option.

Without question we will be producing the S2 (lightweight) version in both the finned and non-finned variations. What we would like to know, is there enough interest or need out there for an S1 version of the 340/390 Rev Wheel to run production on it or will you guys be opting for the S2 for the most part?

the weights of the S1 and S2 Rev Wheels would be almost identical to to what we offer for the 160/200 motor, as follows:

S1 Finned - 3 lbs
S1 Non-Finned - 2.75 lbs
S2 Finned - 2.15 lbs
S2 Non-Finned - 1.8 lbs

Let us know what you think!

I would buy an s2 the minute they are released. This will be an exciting part to add on the motor.

Any way if possible to add a ring gear to any model though? I really enjoy the built in electric start.

We are very excited to get this product out there as well as it offers very unique features, however the ring gear unfortunately will not be a possible option on the 340/390 Rev Wheels due to the fact that these will be the same diameter as our 160/200 Rev Wheels so the 340/390 Rev Wheel package will include a billet aluminum coil relocation/timing adjustment bracket (similar to the 160/200 timing bracket we offer, just slightly different geometry). there is no way to run a ring gear type setup like the stock cast flywheel without interfering with the coil & coil relocation/timing adjustment bracket.
